Artist's Description

Just a bit of humor. Meet Fred, he lives in his bowl on the dining room table and is my grandsons' first goldfish. Like so many others he was won in a carnival ring toss game but unlike so many others he survived the trip home. I shot this image while sitting at the table reading the manual and going over the menus on my new D-7000. Until I tried a B&W conversion in Lightroom I did not see the cratered surface and curved limb of a planetary body.

I am now accepting portrait commission work; visit me at
